Recycling101

To recycle or not recycle -   That is a question that many people ask themselves these days.  More and more young people are being brought up in an age were it is common place, a part of our day to day lives.  It seems to be more the older(mature) folks that are a little harder to convince.  Understandably so, as we are not as easy to change our ways, especially the older we get.  So for those that were not brought up with the notion of recycling, it is that much harder to make it a habit.  If only we as humans could just see that something is wrong and do it the right way, all the time, but as i've stated we are creatures of habit. 

 

    It is great then to see our school boards implementing such programs in our schools. Scool boards started the reduce, reuse and recycle programs in schools across ontario in the mid 80's.  I was a part of that new wave of environmental programs to sweep through Ontario.  They have now taken it a step further with the implementation of the "litterless lunch".  What a great way to kick start the...
